The Room
The luxury candle — the composition hand-poured into wax, where heat turns it warmer and brighter. Wicked by hand for an even, controlled burn. This is where the fragrance is met first.
The Air
Room and linen spray — mist through the room, across linens, or inside the wardrobe to set the space in advance. It blooms bright, then settles. Test on delicate fabrics first.
The Person
Eau de Parfum — once the room is set, the composition is worn. Sprayed onto pulse points from a short distance, it develops through body warmth: intimate projection, with a persistent trail.
What follows

Every batch is weighed to the hundredth of a gram, batch-logged, and rested before it ships. Collections are released in numbered productions; each number is unique to its collection, and Founder’s Release collectors receive a private 48-hour reservation window before each future collection opens publicly.

The Collection is built on three ideas. Presence — a fragrance should announce you quietly, and hold the room after you’ve entered it. Memory — the scents that matter are the ones that return you somewhere; we compose for the moment you’ll want back. Ambiance — every fragrance has a setting it was made for, which is why each collection is tuned for wax, for air, for skin — expression by expression.
Each collection carries an original dotwork system, developed point by point alongside the fragrance. Every Founder’s Release number generates a distinct composition within it.
The Founder
The Grand Collection began at Dominic Walton II’s kitchen scale in Philadelphia — one jar, one blend, one evening at a time. What started as a search for a scent that couldn’t be bought became a practice: build slowly, weigh everything, release nothing before it’s rested. Collection 001 is the first of those evenings made public.
Small batches
Formulated in-house, produced in small batches, and recorded by lot — weighed to the hundredth of a gram, every run.
Numbered releases
Each production is numbered in order of reservation, unique to its collection. When a release closes, it closes. Collectors receive a private 48-hour reservation window before each future collection opens publicly.

Can I smell it before committing?
Every Eau de Parfum — on its own or inside the Complete Collection — ships with a separate tester vial. Smell the tester first; as long as your bottle’s seal stays unbroken, it remains returnable within 30 days of delivery.
Why buy the Complete Collection?
Because the fragrance was composed to be experienced in sequence — the room set by the spray, held by the candle, then worn as the Eau de Parfum. The Complete Collection carries the things never sold separately: your number, the dotwork print composed for it, and the Register’s private early-access window.
Can I buy expressions individually?
Yes. The luxury candle, room & linen spray, and eau de parfum are each available on their own during the Founder’s Release. The reed diffuser, body collection, and Parfum arrive later — announcements land with the newsletter first.
Is everything skin-safe?
Each skin-contact product is formulated within the applicable IFRA usage limits for its product category. Full ingredient declarations are published on each product page before purchase and printed on every label. For products worn on skin, we recommend a patch test before full use.
What if it’s not for me?
Unopened individual pieces may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Complete Collection buyers may also return just the sealed Eau de Parfum after testing the included vial. Numbered artwork and cancellations work a little differently — the full details live in our Return policy. Write to us and we’ll make it right.
How many can I order?
The Complete Collection is limited to one per customer or household so that each Founder’s Release number reaches a distinct collector. Individual expressions are limited to five per order.
What is the dotwork?
Each Founder’s Release number generates a distinct composition through the house-designed dotwork system — no two numbers compose alike. The artwork is an 8 × 10 in. archival pigment print, produced once for that collector, unframed, and numbered to match the reservation. It is included only with the Complete Collection.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes — checkout is powered by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout, not on our site.

Shipping
Founder’s Release reservations close September 15, 2026 — or earlier if the inaugural production allotment is reached. Orders are poured after the release closes and are expected to ship between October 13 and October 27, 2026; every batch is rested before it leaves. You’ll receive tracking by email when your order is on its way. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except when an order arrives damaged or in error.
Returns — individual pieces
Unopened individual pieces may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price. The Eau de Parfum ships with a separate tester vial — using the tester does not affect returnability, provided the bottle’s own seal is unbroken. Write to info@thegrandcollection.shop for a return authorization before sending anything back. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
Returns — Complete Collections
A Complete Collection may be returned as a complete set, unopened, within 30 days of delivery. Alternatively, Complete Collection purchasers may evaluate the fragrance using the included tester vial: if the 50 mL Eau de Parfum remains sealed, it may be returned within 30 days of delivery for its allocated collection value of $95. When only the Eau de Parfum is returned, the tester vial, candle, room spray, numbered dotwork, and collection packaging are nonreturnable. Register access associated with a returned Eau de Parfum is withdrawn, and the assigned number is permanently retired — as is any number associated with a fully returned or cancelled Complete Collection; retired numbers are never reassigned. Write to info@thegrandcollection.shop for a return authorization before sending anything back; return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
Cancellations
Reservations may be cancelled for a full refund until the reservation window closes — September 15, 2026, or earlier if the inaugural production allotment is reached. After production begins, cancellations are accepted only before personalization or fulfillment of your order has started. Once a numbered print has entered production, the order is final except where required by law or where the product arrives damaged or incorrect.
Damaged or incorrect orders
If anything arrives broken or wrong, email a photo within 7 days of delivery and we’ll replace it or refund it — your choice. No need to ship damaged glass back.
Privacy
We collect your email and shipping details only to fulfill orders and, if you opt in, to send collection announcements. Payments are processed by Stripe; card details are entered on Stripe’s systems, not ours. We never sell your information. To unsubscribe or request deletion of your data, use the links in the footer or write to info@thegrandcollection.shop.
